Great Gluten-Free Cereal. Names.

The weekend is almost here, and the faces behind Custom Choice Cereal can’t wait to see Carolina finally play its first game in the ACC tournament in Greensboro today! But first things first, and we’d like to stick to our good tradition of recognizing YOU the creative names your gave your gluten-free cereal munchies this week!

As you know, we try to be as objective as possible. However, sometimes – especially when sports are involved – we are easily biased. This being said, we think that this week’s best gluten-free cereal names are:

5. Sylvia’s GF Southern (mix ID 0cd976). Southern lifestyle starts at breakfast. You got it!
4. ChocoNanaBerry Surprise (mix ID 72d2fe). So deliciously tasty it surprises with every bite.
3. healthy choice (mix ID d84964). That’s the idea!
2. March Madness (mix ID 88da4f ). Couldn’t have said it any better :-)
1. And this week’s winner is THE KATE (mix ID 9004f7). Just have to love the article & simplicity!

Gluten-free Creativity At Its Best

UNC vs Dook BasketballHappy Friday, everyone! I am getting pretty exciting (and nervous) because my beloved Tar Heels will face archrival Duke in the Dean Dome tomorrow. I can only hope that UNC will play both halves as well as it played the first half before falling apart in the second half of the last game on February 9th…

More Gluten-free Cereal Names

If you’re here for the first time you might wonder what this somewhat strange title is all about. No worries, even with the danger of annoying those of you who know the deal, here is a quick explanation:

At Custom Choice Cereal, you can not only design your personal gluten-free cereal but even name it whatever you want! It makes it creating the perfect cereal even more fun for you. To be quite honest, it also makes it a whole lot more fun for us because we appreciate the creative names for the gluten-free breakfast blends that you come up with. And that is exactly the reason why every Friday, we recognize the most creative names of the week right here.

Creative Cereal Names

The fourth week of 2011 is coming to an end, and once again you have been able to surprise us at Custom Choice Cereal with creative names for your cereal mixes. It’s a lot of fun for us to see the three groups of “namers” – those who name their gluten-free cereal after themselves/their child/a friend, those who list the ingredients of their breakfast creations, and those who are really creative/innovative/crazy.

This being said, we included one example of each in this week’s best names for your cereals:

Can you believe it?? The year is rapidly drawing to an end, and we only have a few hours left of 2010! It’s been an exciting and fun year for us at Custom Choice Cereal, and we have to thank YOU for that. Without you, none of what we achieved this year would have been possible!

So it makes us happy that we can close out 2010 with what has become a good tradition on Fridays: recognizing you and your creativity in naming the custom gluten-free cereals that you created. That’s a lot of “you” in a single sentence but hey, you are the most important part of Custom Choice Cereal, and we are just doing what you tell us to.
